Water not clear but still able to see Smooth Newt in the pond last evening

Magpie at the garden pond this afternoon.

With assistance from Manx Wildlife Trust Marine & Freshwater Officer, Lara Howe, and the loan of their Dewsbury Newt Trap a survey of our garden wildlife pond revealed Smooth Newts.

We have tadpoles! Loads of ’em!! These are just a few!!!

Blackbird visiting the pond early this morning

Checking the garden wildlife pond this afternoon the first of the frogspawn has hatched.

And a hedgehog visited the wildlife pond again in early hours of this morning.

Frogs out and about until disturbed by a passing hedgehog.

Wren paid a visit the the garden wildlife pond late this afternoon. Quick little bird so video at half speed.
